I’ve never been to the islands,but i hear that Hawaii is extremely expensive to live there.But good luck on finding a job.I would love to visit Hawaii,but i hate to fly,lol.

I spent 4 hours there in 1987, on a Layover from Okinawa to Travis AFB in California. Looked Nice from the top of the airport terminal building......

I've been there a few times. It's always a struggle to get on the plane to go back home. If I could find someplace affordable, I'd move there in a heartbeat.

We just got back from Hawaii and had a wonderful time. Everyone said "Hawaii is so expensive" Any vacation to a major city New York, Chicago, LA, or Toyko is expensive. Especially if you are staying on the Main Drag.

Visiting Pearl Harbor and the other military bases there has always been on my bucket list - but as the old song goes, "My bucket's got a hole in it..."

I was in the Navy in the 80's. I got to visit 6 or 7 times. Usually Pearl Harbor. Maui once. Nice place to visit. Could not afford to live there.
