K.I.T.T.

I bought this kit partially built years ago. When I finally decided to pull it out and rebuild it, I noticed that the interior was missing. I honestly can't remember if I got it that way, or if I took the interior out to paint it and misplaced it. Either way, I decided I'd make lemonade out of lemons and made some side windows, then blacked all the windows out. I think I remember an episode where all of KITT's windows were blacked out. Anyway, here's what I ended up with.

Sweet build, even without the interior. 

You're right, there were episodes where the windows were blacked out, so your tint is plausible. 

I have a few of these kits (or is it kitts?) and to me, the black paint has to be flawless to represent the protective shield that was stated on many episodes of the show. 

You've done the "Hoff" proud with this one!

Thanks. The kit I used to build K.I.T.T. was the old MPC kit.

It looks good with the blacked out windows, great job giving it some new life! Also, nice that you were able to get one of the first releases of it - later repops all had the (wrong) updated Firebird body without the fender gills.

Thanks.  I have the Aoshima kit, and the add-on scanning LEDs module.  One of these days I'll get to it.

Thanks. I didn't know that, I have a later release that I'm planning on making KARR with.
