I’ve just been figuring things out as I’ve been building. Ther than converting the Papa Truck into a conventional and using those Moebius Super Single wheels and tires, I didn’t have any idea on how I wanted this to look or how I was going to build it.

Rockford Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 The little lumps on the roof are covers over the air vents for the sleeper.

Saltie Olds Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 Here’s the front bumper. Almost done with it. Here’s the rest of the truck. I’m calling this part of the truck done. I’ll wait until I have the hauler body on the truck, then I’ll put on the mirrors. The idea behind the bumper is to have one of those big heavy duty front bumpers, but have it look like the factory bumper.
Saltie Olds Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 I’m now done with this portion of the build. Now after I get the hauler body done, and glued onto the back of the truck, I’ll be able to glue on the mirrors
Saltie Olds Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 Here’s a quick mock up of the truck. This build is now part one of two. I’ll build a model of a 1/25 4x4 truck to go with this one. That’ll be part two.
Rockford Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Who needs a house with a truck like that? Looking great.

Saltie Olds Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 The truck is 22” long and the wheelbase is 14.5” long. Now, when I can, I’ll get a pair of the MPC ‘78 Dodge D100 kits and convert it into a W350 diesel, with the intercooled 5.9 Cummins. Along with updating the bed and cab sides to the ‘81 to ‘93 trucks. hcy728(Bob) gave me the idea to build a pickup truck to match and go with my truck.

Saltie Olds Posted May 27, 2022 Author Posted May 27, 2022 Here’s the haulin body, for the truck. Now all I have to do is finish painting it and I’ll be ready to add it to the truck.
Saltie Olds Posted May 27, 2022 Author Posted May 27, 2022 I got the semi part of this build done. So I’ll post it in Under Glass, with its temporary load.
