9cats Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 I had a resin grille for a 68 Camaro RS but passed it on to my brother for his build. I have forgotten where I got it, does anyone know of a source? Thanks, Wally
Snake45 Posted June 29, 2022 Posted June 29, 2022 Modelhaus used to have a repro of the original AMT '67 annual, but of course they're long gone. At least one outfit is repopping the grille from the MPC '68, but it's only accurate on the right side. The grille from the recent Revell kit isn't accurate either.

What is the issue with the Revell grille? 1

slusher Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 The wanted section would be a chance that someone might have one to give. We have great helpful people here..

Snake45 Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 7 hours ago, deuces wild said: Yep! Inquiring minds like mine ? want to know... It's symmetrical top to bottom. The real Camaro grilles are wider at the top and "tuck in" a bit at the bottom. If you're a true First-Gen Camaro fan, this inaccuracy is a real poke in the eye. 1 1
Can-Con Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 yea, what he said. ☝️ Never really bothered me though. 4

That's an absolutely magnificent model whose appearance is ruined by that inaccurate grille (Revell's fault, not yours). BTW, are you SURE you didn't install it upside down? 1 1
