I had a resin grille for a 68 Camaro RS but passed it on to my brother for his build.  I have forgotten where I got it, does anyone know of a source?

Thanks,

Modelhaus used to have a repro of the original AMT '67 annual, but of course they're long gone.

At least one outfit is repopping the grille from the MPC '68, but it's only accurate on the right side.

The grille from the recent Revell kit isn't accurate either.

What is the issue with the Revell grille?

Yep! Inquiring minds like mine ? want to know...

I remember folks saying the chrome trim ring wasn't tall enough to easily wipe the black paint away when the kit came out.

It's symmetrical top to bottom. The real Camaro grilles are wider at the top and "tuck in" a bit at the bottom. If you're a true First-Gen Camaro fan, this inaccuracy is a real poke in the eye.

That's an absolutely magnificent model whose appearance is ruined by that inaccurate grille (Revell's fault, not yours). :(

BTW, are you SURE you didn't install it upside down? ;)

Yup, there it is. Clearly NOT the same top to bottom and the way Revell molded it just looks WRONG.
