Lyle Willits Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Resin sedan delivery from Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. channelled over the frame. Treadplate step built, just to be different. Small block Chevy with scratchbuilt headers. Wheels from an ancient Monogram "Early Iron" kit. Detailed a Maisto 25th scale Harley to go with the truck. Lloyd is ready to roll.
Bernard Kron Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 That was quick... and very nice, too. Lotsa really cool details and a great stance are a feast for the eyes. That RepMin body is very nice indeed, especially in the rear 3/4 view.
george 53 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Wow Lyle, now THAT's COOOOL! Nice job, LUV the wide tread whitewalls! Did you paint some Monogam 24th scale tires to get em? or are they resin? Either way they really help with the overall look, an , like I said, COOOOLLL!!!
Lyle Willits Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 LUV the wide tread whitewalls! Did you paint some Monogam 24th scale tires to get em? or are they resin? Yes. Tires from the same Monogram kit with the white walls painted .
Dr. Cranky Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Another beautiful build. Thanks for sharing it with us! Love the color too!!!
Lou Kolar Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Lyle you just keep on building Great Models. I'am sure to see this one in person at either Feb. Or Mar. CPMCC meeting.
Daniel Peterson Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but THANK YOU for not "ratting" it. I think it is another in long line of well executed street rods, with pretty much nothing not to like about it. In other words, typical Willits. Well done, sir.
MikeMc Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 O YEAH!!!!!!!!!! Howsa bout an underside photo so we can see the exhaust routing?
MrObsessive Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Very, very sharp as usual Lyle! You keep showing these beautiful street rods and it's making me want to break out of my shell and try building one!

Lyle Willits Posted January 25, 2009 Author Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) O YEAH!!!!!!!!!! Howsa bout an underside photo so we can see the exhaust routing? Here ya go, Mike: Dan,,,,,,,,if you ever see a rat rod model with my name on it then someone has gotten fat, dyed their hair white and had several wrinkles surgically installed to impersonate me, while my rotting body liquifies inside an old refridgerator in a shed behind a shack in the Arizona desert. Uh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,maybe I should turn off the CSI marathon and go outside for awhile. Edited January 25, 2009 by Lyle Willits
