olmadmodeler Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 This is a Replica of my Dads 63 Riviera that I took my behind the wheel driving test in. 3
oldscool Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 That looks very nice and the color gives it that classic look.
Bainford Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Great looking Riv. Such an elegant car, and you've captured it nicely. Very cool.
happy grumpy Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Great job on a classic car. It looks great in that color.
1959scudetto Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) The 1963-65 Riviera is one of the nicest American cars ever built - well done! Edited July 6, 2022 by 1959scudetto
olmadmodeler Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Thank you all very much, the picture makes the Interior look more blue than it is Bad Lighting I guess.
olmadmodeler Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Thank you Craig. I wish I had that car today. 1
olmadmodeler Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 Thank you all very much for the kind words.
bisc63 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 NICE! I love the appearance of the blue interior. What paint/color did you actually use?
olmadmodeler Posted July 7, 2022 Author Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) The dash is BMF the small chrome lines are hand painted with Molotow Chrome paint, the gages are from Mike at best model car parts. The interior is painted Dupli-color light blue Met. the top of the dash is a litter darker just like the real car. for some reason it looks darker blue in the picture than it is. The wheels and tires are from the 65 Riviera. Edited July 7, 2022 by olmadmodeler
pjacobs Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Are the triple whitewalls made by you or come from somewhere?
TNT Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Looks really great. The interior detail is amazing. The rims and tires awesome.
espo Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Beautiful looking Riviera, and I like the tri-white wall tires. Haven't seen those in years. These were customs right off the showroom floor.
olmadmodeler Posted July 7, 2022 Author Posted July 7, 2022 Thank you David, I know they were so cool.
