slusher Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Oz Is a HBO Max series about life behind the walls of an experimental prison"..
LennyB Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Prison of the mind can be self imposed and a lot more terrifying then living in a cage. Â 2
JollySipper Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 'Cage' is Les Claypool's sons name............. Cage Oliver to be exact.
NOBLNG Posted December 21, 2024 Author Posted December 21, 2024 Exact control of the exacto knife will yield the results you desire exactly. 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 "Exactly" seems to mean different things to different people, which can interfere with precise communication.
A modeler named mike Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Communication is of the utmost importance in a good marriage, she talks and he listens, he talks and she corrects him. 1 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Him would seem to have abandoned him's boy parts. 3
Tom Geiger Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Parts are very important to model builders and having a big stash of these can be the difference between a good model and a super build! 2
LennyB Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Build up the bodywork in thin layers, not glopped on like you did as a teen.Â
Falcon Ranchero Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 (edited) Teen is the time I'm in right now building kits and it is a fun pass-time, but my only parts stash is a small ziploc bag with misc. accessories from '70s Van kits plus two incomplete engines, as well as no stashed kits since I built all the ones my dad stashed in the '90s. Tom Geiger Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 90s was once the price of a very nice house in New Jersey. Now that's more like $900,000
Falcon Ranchero Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 $900,000 would get me all the classic cars I want, plus a place to store them
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 (edited) Them pigs is wearin' lipstick agin.   Edited December 21, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy 2
LennyB Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Again with the lipstick, the only thing that could be worse is if they started to fly as well, it’s bad enough normal pigs can fly but with lipstick would just be too much.Â
stitchdup Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 much of the time flying pigs turn out to be distant aircraft's landing lights 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Lights are required on flying-pig drones.
Tom Geiger Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Drones flying over New Jersey may very well be run away pigs! 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 (edited) Pigs with wings = swine flew. Edited December 21, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO 3
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 "Orbison" sounds like it could be the name of a nuclear powered flying hotel in some parallel reality.
LennyB Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Reality is a concept I can't always get my head wrapped around. 1 1
NOBLNG Posted December 21, 2024 Author Posted December 21, 2024 (edited) Around the halfway point in building an older Revell 55 Chevy coupe, momentum ground to a halt. Edited December 21, 2024 by NOBLNG
LennyB Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Halt when you get to the point of those opening doors, they will drive you to drink
Ace-Garageguy Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 (edited) "Drink deep the gathering gloom"...or is it "breathe deep" and so forth? Edited December 21, 2024 by Ace-Garageguy
