Sad news. Mr. White was certainly one of the best when it came to early rods. An inspiration for me. RIP. CT 1
stavanzer Posted July 23 Posted July 23 One of the best Known Modelers in the world has passed. We have all heard of him, and many here own at least one of his kits. Mr. Shunsaku Tamiya. https://tamiyablog.com/2025/07/in-memoriam-mr-shunsaku-tamiya/

While I didn't know Bill personally, we spoke a few times via PM and E-mail, he also helped me with model car parts that I needed for a certain project. A really nice guy. RIP Bill.

Can-Con Posted Friday at 08:30 PM Posted Friday at 08:30 PM Just informed that John Dezan passed this morning. He was known on the Spotlight board for a long time, was on there when I joined around 25 years ago. Most would probably recognize him posting as "Can-Am Garage" He was a fixture on there as well as attending many shows in eastern Canada and The U.S. A true friend and he'll be missed greatly. 2

John was a good guy and he truly loved the hobby. And he was only 57. I knew he'd been dealing with some health struggles, but I didn't realize they were anything life-threatening.

Brian Austin Posted Sunday at 07:59 PM Posted Sunday at 07:59 PM Some of John's final posts on FB were of his cat. I'm hoping someone's taking good care of Grom. 1
