Claude, the finish on your longbed Chevy looks way better than the one on my GMC longbed.......?

Hi Al!

Well, thank you, but your patina finish is absolutely "credible". And the used T/A Firebird (?) wheels are a good fit!

Fantastique ! Always nice to see what you come up with, the way you take an ordinary subject and turning it into a beautifully designed unique piece is really nice to watch. Another great build.

Thanks for sharing it.

Salut Mario!

Thank you, much appreciated. Hope you'll attend the Québec model show on october 16th. You'll enjoy it!

Excellent work Claude! I think these are some of the best looking trucks GM ever made, and you just smoothed the look nicely.

Hi Greg!

Thank you. I agree, and the 67 (with slanted-back hood front section) is even better than this "vertical" 72. But I could not find one, alas...

Hey Claude !

Another excellent build my friend !

Sorry I'm late to the party, I'm not very active on the forum lately, but I was pretty sure you had another great and tasteful project for us and I am not disappointed. ?

I am very happy to see that you will have a truck at the Quebec show to accompany my only new offering for the occasion.  I can't wait to see all your models "in the flesh", as you say so well, because no photo compares to the appreciation of the human eye on site.  Not to mention the pleasure of having exciting discussions with good friends that the pandemic has kept us away from for too long !

See you soon my friend !

Salut Francis!

Thank you, but your "only new offering" should cause a commotion, believe me! My C 10 is a street truck, and I suppose your Dodge will be in the competition (drag) category? Either way, it wiill shine, and should get a Best Os Show, unless the judges are... blind! LOL.

I spoke with the manager of the show friday (René Marois), and he feels there will be an outpouring of new models on the tables this year.

Can't wait to see you there, and share a few laughs over a juicy burger across the street from show hall!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Claude !

I would certainly have all my chances for the rarest subject of the show... ?

It will be good for my motivation to see you and our friends talking about our common hobby and admiring the hours of passion displayed on the tables of the exhibition.

As for the results of the votes, I never take anything for granted, it is the amateurs who have the last word and decide who are the winners, but for the juicy burger, I can see it more clearly and especially in good company ! ??

Very well done.  I'll have to study the hood hinge for duplication.

HI Jim!

Thank you, please go ahead, it's easier than it looks. Hope you are safe out of the storm path? Hang on!
