bauercrew Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Hey everyone here is one i finished few months ago,,,tryed something different not sure if you can tell but the valve covers are covered in carbon fiber i actually cut 5 seperate pieces for these things, when trying to use one piece it was a disaster,,,but the 5 piece was time consuming but they REALLY look great in person, also did the bumper ,grill ,and radiater tank on top ,and air cleaner. 1
espo Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Looks great. I like the modern paint colors not often seen on a '56 pickup. The Carbon Fiber decals worked well.
SpikeSchumacher Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Very nicely done Bill! It's neat to see people's individual creativity come through when building the same kit OOB.
70 Sting Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Haven’t seen one built like this before… looks great - body and engine!
ea0863 Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Came out great! With so many cars coming out now either with carbon fiber parts, or CF bodies altogether, our hobby will need to adapt too. It would be great to have a hydro dipping option with CF in various scales and colors. (Maybe such a thing exists, and I just don't know about it?)
Zippi Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I like it. Different but has that basic Classic truck look. Can't beat these ole 56 Ford pickups. I love the fat fender cars & trucks. Great job.
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Interesting colour choices! Different and therefor cool! Nice and clean build!
Dragline Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 I will echo others here when I say interesting color choices. It has a military gone citizen kinda vibe. I always dig that.
Street Rod Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Very cool truck with some modern touches! Looks a lot like some of the customs you see on the TV auctions.
