AMT Gremlin X. Gasser/Street Freak

Not sure what direction this car will go in . Still thinking about paint but have an idea . I thought a 427 from a Shelby Cobra would perk it up . I think I can get it to fit . I think !

I love to see fast Gremlins. This ought to be good.

One of the crowd favorites at the 2021 Rt.66 Street Drags in Kingman, Az. was a green Gremlin that looked like it had just been pulled out of a swamp.

SBC with two fours on a tunnel ram, IIRC.

Little car hooked up consistently and pulled like a freight train.

Can't wait to see where this goes. Gremlins are cool little cars, my uncle had a Levi's edition Gremlin back in the 80s with a strong sbc in it.

My first real girlfriend Debbie had a Levis version. It was a total POS but I had a lot of firsts associated with that car.

It's staring out awesome, Ill be watching.

I've always liked these. Back in the day I had a pal with a BB '73 Nova that was fairly well known locally. One evening he absolutely got smoked racing streetlight to streetlight one night, by a sleeper Gremlin. I've been wanting to build one myself.

Thanks guys.  Back in 72 I was looking to buy my first new car. I found a Gremlin I really wanted. It was a Gremlin X in purple with the white stripes. Turned out it was a tad out of reach with insurance. I ended up with a new 72 Pinto. I know Pintos are not well liked but I had that car for two years without any problems. I was even rear ended and lived to tell about it. ?
