Falcon Ranchero made me smile with the discovery of a couple of tunes from the 70's. I'm glad you enjoyed them and hope you discover some other great music from that era.

Oh yeah that’s all I listen to, mainly influenced by my parents and the fact that the radio stations in both their vehicles are, 80s on 8, the bridge, classic vinyl, classic rewind, hair nation, and ozzy’s boneyard. It’s all cool music and I’d rather listen to it.

I got turned on to this when I was in college. I wasn't crazy about it back then but I sure like it now.

Pink Floyd's 'One of these Days'........ There's only one line of lyrics in this song, which if you know the song, you know what that line is! What I never noticed before here recently was the reverse cymbal. For the longest time I thought that was all it was. Just lately though, I've been hearing it a little different. Like they want you to hear something besides the cymbal.... like scissors, maybe?

On Napster, you can explore artists similar to your likes......... These guys were listed as similar to the Allman Bros..... I believe their bass player is in this band, too.

A band so good they eliminated everything but guitars and drums.

I listen to them almost daily and have seen them twice now. The only way to describe them is Metal/Jazz.

They kind of remind me of Steve Vai style.

Here's a band sort of newly discovered for me. I first heard of them im my Jr./Sr. years in college, 1975, 1976. I suppose I had heard their music but didn't remember much about them. But I recently came across them in some YouTube video about obscure bands. This band dates all the way back to 1968. I certainly wouldn't have been into them at that age, about 14. So anyway here's the album I'm listening to right now. I would call them a Progressive Jazz style.
