Just starting another one of these kits . Not everyone likes these but I do . I ordered one of those Roth custom paint bomb kits to try out on this . I know the scale will be wrong but I want to test the paint as I am thinking of building one of those pedal car kits for my grandson . I think this paint would be ok for that .

Got a chance to work on this one a bit . Body in primer . Chassis almost done . I have never been good at engine wiring and this one is no different . I did not have a distributor so I used a mag that I had . This model is just going to be a custom so anything goes ??  Actually just using this kit as a test bed for some custom paint . The flake will no doubt be out of scale but I just want to experiment with this paint . If anyone has used it please let me know what you think .

Built one of the MPC kits back in the 80's and have another in my stash , guess they deserve all the bad press but I like them too !  Following along to maybe get me motivated to build it .  Never seen that paint before , looks interesting !

I shot some of the flake a bit ago . This paint comes out fast and heavy . I can not recommend it for our small projects .. (pics later ) .  I may have to do a little wet sanding and a recoat ? This was pretty much a test anyway so no big deal . I think it would be good for larger things like the pedal car kit I am thinking of building and painting for my grandsons   .

I sprayed the metal flake the other day and here is the result without any clear . Keep in mind I only used this paint on this model to test the paint . Did not plan a metal flake Cobra but I will finish it and put it in one of my cabinets . Way out of scale to be sure .

It maybe out of scale but I've seen worse and it looks like it sprayed evenly and laid down pretty smooth , I like it !  I've tried other glitter sprays (Testors & Krylon) , they are never very smooth and need lots of sanding before any clear , plus the nozzles always clog up .  For some applications this may be worth trying , where did you find it ?

I saw an commercial for it while watching a car show. Lil Roth custom spray bombs will get you to the site. Tried to give ya a link but could not get it to post.

Thanks I found it , looks like they have some really cool stuff !  I'm wondering if just spraying the Basecoat Rattle Bomb or Pearl Rattle Bomb would give a more in-scale finish , I'm goin to give it a try .
