restoman
I started this mainly as a photo prop, something a little jazzier than plain white poster board. I used some 1/8" acrylic sign board that I picked up along with some auction stuff for the floor and walls. Built in sections so it can come apart when not in use, I decided to build a generic shop and just swap out the dio detail pieces so it can be whatever type of shop I want at the time: race shop, body shop, mechanic shop, etc. I'll weather it as I go along Comments always welcome.
Ace-Garageguy
Looks really good so far...'cept for a body shop, I'm wondering how you'll do the 2" layer of dust over most everything.

That's easy, you fog a whole can of light gray from 3ft away. I love the detail with the electrical conduits and the air drops. The "dirty" door is a nice touch. I am sure you are not done, but the roll-up door needs tracks and some sort of spring set up. Edited January 8, 2023 by Bills72sj

I thought about building a Toro leaf blower to lean in the corner... that's how my shop stayed... uh... clean. ?

I've got the door tracks in place, but not the upper ones yet. I want to make them removable for when the thing isn't being used. I'm not going to do a door spring, just a cover for it. Paul Payne
Great start- if you have some AMT hammers, you could alter them into body hammers. Small pieces of wood could be carved into dollies and bucks.

restoman
A few additions in progress... All but the tanks, regulators and wheels are scratch built. I cast a third set of regulators and the MIG cart castors in epoxy.

I made some for mine back when I was building my diorama. I have the artwork files if you can print your own decals. Kodiak Island Modeler
It's the small details that make the big difference. You are addressing them quite well.
