Mustang Funny cars pair

Built these two at the same time. Frames were badly warped, but after a lot of work bending, cutting and heating they are straight. Slixx decals on both and a lot of time on the motors

Great builds. Love that era of FCs, and since my Meyer Mustang FC fell to the hands of my young son years ago, this is inspiration to build the one in my stash. Great Blue Max as well. Enjoyed the show.

Ok, this is a little weird as I started building the same two cars a couple of months ago. I got both painted and I was up to decals, I used the Slixx decals on the Blue Max, but only had the kit decals for the Billy Meyer car. I had three sets of kit decals and all were bad and unusable. You stated you used Slixx on both cars, did you use the Glidden TBird decals?

I got both sets from Slixx, but that was over a year ago when i bought them. Not sure if they still make the 7-11 ones

Nice AMC Hornet.  As a AMX racer for years in the 80's, always nice to see anything AMC!
