customline Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Man, that frame sure is ugly ?. The flatty, she's a beauty now! ? The colors work beautifully. 1
Zippi Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Coming along nicely. I'm like Jim....I really like those flattys. When I had my 1:1 37 Ford pickup Street Rod I was wanting a flatty for it but they were way above my paygrade. 1
espo Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Like how you did the plug wires and the "Crab" distributer. Now I know how to make that look correct. 1
dino246gt Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Great colour choice and I LOVE the wheel/tire combo, model on brother! 1

Thank you Bob, I know the flatties were somewhat underpowered compared to the ohv engines of the day, but I just love the way they look, so I try to incorporate them as often as I can. 1 hour ago, dino246gt said: Great colour choice and I LOVE the wheel/tire combo, model on brother! Thank you Dennis, I think that the right set of wheels/tires either makes it breaks a model and monogram did some great combos in the sixties, it almost hurts me to break them from the kits. 1 hour ago, espo said: Like how you did the plug wires and the "Crab" distributer. Now I know how to make that look correct. Thank you David, I’m glad that at least one of my modelling ideas helps at least one person. It may not be 100% accurate but it looks a lot better and is easier to keep them neat n tidy. 52 minutes ago, Vintage AMT said: Yes it does, Looking really good.. Thank you Alex, the hardest time for me in any build is colour selection. 16 hours ago, customline said: Man, that frame sure is ugly ?. The flatty, she's a beauty now! ? The colors work beautifully. Thanks Jim, I did say ignore the frame ?
customline Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Sorry, Bil, but that's like saying "don't look at that pimple on Jennifer Lopez's butt. ? 1
Bullybeef Posted July 13, 2024 Author Posted July 13, 2024 Took a short Break from the heat outside(don’t get a lot of nice weather here on the far east coast) and opened the box and mocked up the car since my last visit with it. I was not happy with the interior at all, and the channel with the tub was not sitting the way I envisioned it. So I removed that tub and have started fresh. 5
espo Posted July 14, 2024 Posted July 14, 2024 Might have to raise the interior floorboards to compensate for the body channeling. 1

Bullybeef Posted July 15, 2024 Author Posted July 15, 2024 A little tidy up of the rear arches is needed. 1
Bullybeef Posted July 15, 2024 Author Posted July 15, 2024 Interior tub take 2. This should work a lot better. And of course had to mock it all up again. 2
Kenmojr Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 I am glad you re-activated this build. Love the direction you are going... 1
