Can't Edit Topic Heading...Again

I tried to update the title of my Nostalgia Fuel Dragster thread, and the option to edit it doesn't come up. Am I missing something? Thanks!

There is a 2-week limit for editing.

You have 2 weeks after posting to edit the post. 

We had a spam post attack. Unfortunately, one of the vulnerabilities we have to seal is the ability to edit previous posts. We like to run with this enabled, and normally do. But when we're under attack, we have to close it. The breach attempts are continuing, so it's staying at the 2 week limit for the time being.

Do the mods have the ability to still edit the title on behalf of users?

I'm sure the mods can modify the titles but don't think it is practical. I'm sure that have better things to do when they are on the site. 

We just have to be patient till the potential spam issues are resolved.

Exactly! I'll just try it, until it's able to be turned back on. Not a big deal!

My build thread now has a bad date in heading forever??? Wish I had know. Thanks for the info.

Maybe after management decides there's no ongoing "threat", they'll open up back-editing again.
