ModelcarJR Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Another 1969 Camaro RS is done! The color is Tamiya Light Blue metallic inside and out. Houndstooth seat inserts were added with decals from Scale Motorsports. Plug wires from Morgan Automotive, scratched fuel lines and fuel block, Pro Tech heater hoses and air cleaners from the parts box. Wheels are from the AMT 70 Monte Carlo. Thanks for looking! ? 14
AMT68 Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Great looking Camaro and decal work on the hood. That blue works well and think I'll also do one in this color.
KWT Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Man that came out sweet John. Great color on it

TooOld Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Beautiful Camaro John ! The perfect color and some great trim and detailing . And no complaints about the hood stripe decals , you may be the first !
ModelcarJR Posted February 22, 2023 Author Posted February 22, 2023 Thanks, Eric and Bob! I appreciate your comments! Yes, although these decals are not cut in many pieces, the are thin and easy to apply and suck down because they are thin. I used a new blade to cut them at the front and at the trunk line and they cut nicely and didn't break. These were much better than the AMT 67 Camaro decals which were too thick. I didn't get them exactly straight over the rear spoiler, but close enough. Thanks for looking! ?
espo Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like the engine detailing.
ModelcarJR Posted February 25, 2023 Author Posted February 25, 2023 Thanks, David, Larry and Ken! I appreciate your comments! ?
