Old Lindberg 442

This has sat painted in a box for easy ten years. So I decided a printed set of wheels and tires would motivate me. It did!!

I have  3 of these lindberg 442 bodies and maybe one hood and nothing else in my parts boxes I have been thinking about using 67 chevelle chassis and interior parts and glass  for one and track down front and back chrome to finish one

Yea, lindberg corrected it shortly after they released the kit. I had one of the early kits too and they sent me a corrected hood.

Nice kit aside from the front being off a bit.

The paint finish still looks fresh and the Black color goes well with the Red interior and inner fenders.

Beautiful Olds. Looks great in black/red combo. I built that kit too and it has the same hood as you. I hope Round too corrected this when they re issued it under the AMT brand. At any rate, your model looks awesome nonetheless.

Lindberg corrected it shortly after [or possibly during] the first run, long before Round 2 acquired them. 

I contacted Lindberg back then and they sent me a replacement hood.
