Hizoot Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Just thought I'd share my newest build with my newest group; It's just a slammer but sometimes the simplest looking builds are the toughest..! Enjoy ; Hizoot
DR Dubois Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Nice looking rod! Where the heck did those tires come from?!
Joe Handley Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I'm digging it! IIRC those tires are off a snap together that AMT/ERTL sold for a while.
Bernard Kron Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Nice proportions and pretty lines. I like the slightly extended look of the nose section.
fordh8r Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Slammers are fun to build since you don't have all the detailing to do except for the paint and body. This one looks great!
george 53 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I GOTTA agree with da TREEHUGGER! THAT is a GREAT flight of imagination! I can see the Mysterion in there, along with the Prowler, The Tires are PERFECT!,I'da NEVER thought of fillin the recesses in with contrasting paint! GREAT MOVE!!! This Bad Boy is just too cool! Me likey ALOT!!! And Commin from the Treehugger,to be told you got imagination, aint to be taken lightly, Caz HE should KNOW!!!

RatRod Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Hizoot? I think I know some caricature that uses that same handle elsewhere on the net.... Anyway, great model, those tires ARE sick!!!
Hizoot Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I've heard of that guy too, What a klown..! You know there's some guy out there named Bissinger, a real trouble maker. Ever heard of him..? I'm coming up to Portland roadster show John, so why don't you "come on down" & share some tall tales with us..? George; you're close... Mysterion + Boyds Aluma Coupe = Alunatic & the tires are from AMT snap kit The Ram-Blurrr... Thanks gents, Hizoot
Foxer Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Was at first trying to figure the extent of those cool cycle fenders ... eheh ... those tires look great!
