Nosferatu
I had a wild idea the other day so I acted on it. I had a large pile of Vettes so I thought I'd mix them up a bit. I took a 1955 a 1960 and a 1969 Vette and decided to combine them. I'm not sure how it will come out but I'll give it a shot. I liked the front of the '55, the side panels of the '60 and the rear of the '69. I cut the '55's front off from the top of the front fenders back to the firewall, I then cut the '60 side panels along the same route, I also cut off the rear of the '69. I had to narrow the '55 front to fit the '60 panels and added them to the '69 rear. The window pillars will need adjustment. It's too many colors at the moment but its about to go into a primer. That will show me where to start puttying. Not sure what engine I will use or if the wheels in the pics will stay. All constructive criticism appreciated. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Gramps46
There are times when I wish I had the guts to try something like this. I actually like what you are doing.
Mr. Metallic
very interesting. It will be easier to critique the design once everything is one color. However, you may want to strip the old paint before moving on to primer.
cobraman
Kind of tough to see what it will look like right now but I bet it will look cool when in primer .

The paint is almost part of the plastic. I will sand it all smooth before I prime. Dave

atomicholiday
My first reaction was it would be pretty ugly. But what I see in those pics really works somehow! Fascinating build!

bobthehobbyguy
Reminds me of the 57/58/59 impala that was built on a Corvette chassis I think. Looking forward to seeing It in primer to see the design better.

customline
I think this is brilliant! It totally works. Making everything else fit....that's the tough part. if the windshield works out to a nice clean fit it will make all the difference. I'm following this one 😎. Nosferatu
Thanks for the nice comments guys! I know some would think this as sacrilege, but I mean it as a tribute to the Corvette and I am trying to do it justice. Dave
