This build is kind of a Frankenstein of parts. The cab is from Motor City Resin Casters, the bed and frame is from the AMT 1953 Ford Stepside, Moebius engine, front hood emblem and mirrors. Modelhaus  grille, hood side emblems, wheels and hubcaps. Factory color of Holly green

Fantastic job on the kit bashing!  Ford had 3 different style beds in '62, but for obvious reasons, we only see the unibody on this forum. To my knowledge, yours is the first '62 Flareside. Without the MCR cab, this would have been difficult to pull off. Great color choice and detailing work!

Beautiful looking color and finish. Building a model, especially this nice, just using bits and pieces from the parts boxes is fun. Very realistic looking body style and body finishes. Way back when I worked for a small Water Company where I was living, and the Ford trucks we used were this era and the same color scheme.

Beautiful truck your kit bashing paid off very nice. Always liked that green had a 1967 3/4 ton that was the same color.
