Hubley Model A Roadster...

I traded for a poorly painted Hubley Model A Roadster that I stripped to bare metal.Went with a teal color for the body.

Metal with some plastic parts.

Try to build one decades ago! Never finished it and lost it on one of many moves! But being nostalgic I bought a few for my stash! Maybe someday I will finish one!

Pretty easy to build.

Painted the white walls by holding a circle template against the tire and carefully airbrushing Tamiya acrylic flat white.

Put in a windshield.

Installed the tail lights and rear licence plate

It looks great in that color, and the red interior is a nice contrast.?

Forever flash fettling and filing is a thing I can remember with those old Hubley hybrid die cast and plastic kits!

But with a bit of work can produce nice models like this restoration project has shown.
