carsntrucks4you
For my Peterbilt 280 COE I need a van trailer. I had started with designing the trailer chassis based on an old Corbitt 24ft trailer chassis. The chassis was printed in 2 sections, a 35ft 2 axle chassis was also printed. Pictures of prints shows the first 3 section 24ft trailer prototype. For the side walls I used evergreen sheets. The round front was formed with hot water and a hot fan over a printed front section that was way to heavy for the printed frame. The roof section is also 3D printed. Print jobs where done on a Anycubic Mono X Edited June 20, 2023 by carsntrucks4you

cifenet
Impressive! I like the round front and how you managed to bend the plastic sheet! And it goes very well with the truck, nice work!

The only drawback was that I have to print the rear roof section again because it broke while cleaning.
peteski
Wow! Very impressive. We are seeing more and more modelers designing and printing their own models (or parts of them). I can only imagine how many design hours went into the project. But it is fun time!

I think more than glueing the walls to the frame
