Used AMT's 1958 Edsel Pacer kit

I made this to mimic Laurie's Edsel in American Graffiti. This was built from a 2 door Pacer, so I had to cut new lines for the door and added some extra handles. The side chrome is also extended ever so slightly to match the Corsair, and the only other thing I added is the correct license plate. The color is Testors Turquoise. It took six months to complete, for I was never satisfied with the way the body looked. After seeing this kit for far too long on the bench, I decided it was good enough, and after doing all of the little chrome bits, it now happily resides on the shelf as one of my best models. Thanks for looking
