The bodies look more like a Ford Fairmont, but still much better looking. Like it better than a Mustang you have to plug in at night.

No, that white one with red stripes and a Mustang II front clip was a Pinto. The ones I posted are Fox body Fairmonts.

 

All are "mustang wagons."

I posted the Cobra wagon in response to the Pinto side discussion,  which seemed outside of the realm of the thread.  ?

Also, it might give someone some kitbashing ideas.

Interested to see what this car had for a fuel tank. Maybe moved into the quarter panel like the other Ford wagons? There is no way that it could exist in the stock location with this fuel filler door.

An interesting question is which model car kit floor/frame would it fit on? Or does it come with the floor/frame piece?

It says it fits the 1/24 scale 64-66 kits Monogram did and Revell still reissues.
