AMT 1958 Impala

Another one of the many kits I started and put away so many (30+) years ago. So, I pulled it out, noticed I was building it as a custom. Not usual for me. I even changed the induction to a dual carb tunnel ram. It's slammed and some kind of alloy wheels. Dummy spotlights? OK. I had fun with the paint. Factory like, but brighter. Rustoleum yellow and Testors metallic green. Various paint pens for the seat inserts. So. Much. Foil!

 

Yes, there is a drop of glue on the windshield! Argh!!!! It happened when I was adding the blower fan housing to the firewall! I might try to sand and polish it out.

After everything was initially painted. My new phone really makes that geen pop more than it actually does.

This is what was in the box as I found it. So surprised it survived intact all these years and nothing was missing.
