tiking Posted October 8, 2024 Author Posted October 8, 2024 (edited) I upgraded this diorama, that I had made sometime ago. I removed a couple of trees and added extra under growth and static grass, and some bushes, as well as change out some scenery accessories. I also removed the passenger side door to be able to see inside a bit better. Edited October 8, 2024 by tiking 3
BK9300 Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Your dioramas are simply amazing! They are very realistic and the vehicle aging/weathering is remarkable. (I also really liked your diorama "The Yard" - so much going on in that scene)
Anglia105E Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Your dioramas take realism to another level Charles . . . This is by far the best work of yours that I have seen so far . . . There are several photos that you have posted where you would not know this was a scale model diorama . . . Wonderful to see. David

Roger U Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Amazing detail and beautiful. Everything from the weeds and flowers to the vehicle itself look real.
David G. Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 A beautifully detailed and weathered diorama! David G.

tiking Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 3rd time is a charm. Yep! this my third upgrade or maybe downgrade, considering the size of this version. I think it looks much better than the two older versions: What do you all think? 2

Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Interesting. More focus on the subject and less on the background. That works.

Potaka Posted Thursday at 07:47 AM Posted Thursday at 07:47 AM What a transformation! Hard to believe it’s the same “forest find” from the beginning. The weathering is beautifully done — subtle but convincing. I really like how you kept that aged look while still making it roadworthy. Curious: how did you approach the rust effects without overdoing it?
Anglia105E Posted Friday at 01:57 PM Posted Friday at 01:57 PM The old rusty Land Rover is consumed by the undergrowth . . . I like the detail under the bonnet inside the engine compartment, and something such as the two lamp lenses being intact on the driver's side front wing, but having the two lamp lenses missing on the passenger side front wing is the kind of detail that really stands out for me personally, Charles . . .
