Mopar2 Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Finally finished my 71 Hemi Challenger R/T...I tried to use the 70 Challenger(Revell)as my doner kit.(I used body for a Pro Mod)The interior was to deep for Challenger Resin body..I tried to modify it.To no avail...So I went with what I had.The 70 Cuda Revell kit as the doner kit.It actually fit perfect...I added Cragar S/S rims, headers with Cherry Bombs and even "Old School"traction bars. She is painted Tamiya Metallic Blue. With 3 coats of Testers"Wetlook"cleat coat. Also two hood variations for a differant look...Thanks for looking... 4

karbuildr Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Very nice build. The color is great, and that engine compartment detailing is excellent. 1
Yeah Nah Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 Very nice! That exhaust system would give it a nice sound. 1
Bills72sj Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) I love the color and the wheels. (and the Cherry Bombs)? I did the 70 to 71 conversion quite awhile ago. What did you use for carpet? It looks great. The front grille looks like a 70 with a divider. How did you do the tail panel? Edited October 3, 2023 by Bills72sj 1

Thank you...I used cotton knit material for the carpet and headliner...The Resin dividers for the front grill were a mess.So I didn't use them. The tail panel.I just painted flat black...And I didn't cut out for the exhaust tips...
happy grumpy Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 All that work turned out well. I like the color and the way the car sits. 1
