I used the amt kit for most of everything, the wheels came from revell’s thunderbolt, the slicks are amt the headers are custom made to fit the chassis. I have lost count of how many times I glued my fingers to the body attaching all the side trim and trim for the vinyl top. I painted it tamyia dark blue which almost looks black which I believe was the original color of the car . The decals are old Billy gooche. This was a complicated build getting the body’s trim right and sanded around. Until next time thanks for looking 👀, Mike IMG_2536.thumb.jpeg.367930b65c487527e14d879e9ca11f5f.jpegIMG_2537.thumb.jpeg.0c606197a7130d5a320fb74c7d03c1c5.jpegIMG_2538.thumb.jpeg.30628f752cab98b2924e2f8d812e0c3e.jpegIMG_2541.thumb.jpeg.cd6af4ce9db1f1a74110d816b8d3ed6d.jpegIMG_2540.thumb.jpeg.13cdc375b9c429a5bf32ff9b370aa845.jpegIMG_2539.thumb.jpeg.6dd0d73280f30dc30f3be7acf2ddbeb2.jpeg

I can only imagine the "fun" adding all the side trim must have entailed, but you persevered.  That is one tough looking car, well done!  In the past I also built one of these as a fictional super stock, and used the headers from a Thunderbolt.  Not an easy task at all and almost shelved the whole project as a result lol!

Yeah I have the decals to do the silver and black car of Hubert Platt , but I’m so not looking forward to that side trim again . Be tween the wheel well’s is made up of 3 pieces. I’ve built another 66 FAIRLANE and used the headers from the amt 69 Torino they worked ok
