My buddy in So Cal and I had a little contest to build a box art model. I picked the retooled AMT 1966 Mustang fastback. Box stock, Tamiya Bright Red can. I did change out the rear tires to AMT MH slicks.  I also did change out the driver name decal to that of my friend Bill.....decal is in the kit!!!

I found the kit body had a rough texture that took a lot of work to get decent. Decals are get but cut stripes to size BEFORE you apply as hey are nice and white but brittle......and I used 2 sets. Thanks

Box art builds look so cool. Very nice job. I don't think I've ever built a box art version of anything cos the temptation to do your own thing is quite strong! lol

Dave...this is a great looking model that really does a fine job showing the potentials for this new Round 2 AMT kit.  Cool!!!!   TB
