COOPER KING COBRA!

mhr038.jpg

When Shelby dropped a Ford racing 289 in the back of a Cooper Monaco a star was born! Parnelli Jones, Dave MacDonald, Bob Holbert all had great drives in the USRRC with this car and it lit the flame that became the CanAm series. I would love to get my hands on one of these.....

These are very expensive built-ups sold by Midlantic Models in England.

KC93-94MID48.jpg

........they fall in the "if you have to ask you can't afford it" price range.....

>I see "DONKS"!!

dont worry; personally i predict this will be the shortest lived trend ever. there is just zero redeeming value at all there, at least it seems to me...

> would love to see an FJ40!

if you mean a toyota fj40, there are a couple kits out of japan (i forget the manufacturer...fujimi maybe) right now that are probably pretty nice (just seen the box art, kinda cartoonish, but i believe the models themselves are scale.)

Here's mine (yes, I'm dreaming):

Stock 1936 (not '37) Chevrolet coupe; and any kit that has ACCURATE, CORRECTLY-SHAPED-AND SIZED Mickey Thompson (M/T) big-block Chevy valve covers (no one has done this yet -- not even close!).

As you can see, I am easy to please but I am not holding my breath.
