Quick GMC
I did this one for an online contest and was barely able to finish in time. I should have started a WIP, but here we are. Pics aren't the best. Moebius 1970 Ford F100. Everything is from the kit except the engine, which is the Cross Boss from the old BOSS 302 kit. This is my first time doing rust and weathering like this. I did the salt method. I enjoyed the kit for the most part, other than a ton of flash and sanding, etc. Not terrible, just lots of busy work to clean it up. NOBLNG
Wow! For a first weathering job, you couldn’t have asked for better results. Totally realistic looking! Well done.👍
moparmike619
I am blown away by your underhood detailing. I have never seen the little red and green felt rings underneath the battery terminals done in scale! The weathering as others has said is very good as well, but the second look at that engine bay has me speechless! Excellent job!

Vette_lover2004
I do like weathered trucks. Nice change of pace from a nicely painted shiny new truck, thats never seen a piece of plywood...the weathered look gives it that touch of realism and most people can relate to an old beat up truck over something shiny and new. Captured the look well. Edited December 16, 2023 by Vette_lover2004 Extra letters at bottom of post
