Tamiya Suzuki Katana

Finished my build of the Tamiya  1/12 scale GSX1100S Suzuki Katana. What a good fun kit for a mere 14.40 from Hobbylinc. Paint is Tamiya TS-30 Silver Leaf. Original bike had a Navy blue seat but I opted for black. I would like to thank Gary at Tamiya customer service for replacing the vinyl tubing that I misplaced. Might have to get my hands on a couple more bikes for display. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Looks fantastic! You really did a clean sharp job. I had this kit back in the early eighties but traded it to a friend before building it. Well done ?

That looks great. I have one in my pile that I'll get to sooner or later.   I always thought that was one of the ugliest bikes ever built, but there is something about it. I have wanted one ever since I saw one at a shop back when dirt was young.  I have only done one Tamiya bike and want to build more.

I had that kit in my hands 15 years ago, a friend of mine said if i had time i could build it as his dragracing bike.. time and interest never came so i gave it back.  His was not stock..  his street bike was more stock though.
