It went together well, although the body panels were a bit finicky. Tamiya paints, and I wasn’t sure what shades to use but I ran across Safire6’s post of this kit from a couple years ago and thought it looked great so I borrowed his color idea. 👍 It’s built box stock with the exception of the blower belt that I wasn’t a fan of, so I made my own with Gorilla black tape and it looks good actually. The colors look fantastic! 😉 And that blower belt looks very realistic too-very creative use of the tape. I also had issues with the frame warping but somehow got it straightened out. I straightened the frame with boiling water. Try the gorilla tape, you’ll like how easy it is, but you’ll have to brush a little Tamiya flat black on it to knock down the gloss a bit. I had no problems with the panels under the headers, my big problem was the cowl on top in front of the engine. Had to cut the edge back a bit. The upper snd lower nose panels were very tough to install around those radius rods.
