This has kicking around since possibly 2008. I had chopped the body, Norm Veber was interested in casting it, but it took me forever.

I changed the Hemi for a Chevy 409. I have a slew of parts squirreld away. I'm probably sticking with the kit suspension pieces.

I have no idea where the bomber seats came from. Tires are from Modelhaus.

Lots of neat bits there Bob, can’t wait to see how it looks all together.

Agreed!  I love hard-to-find old stuff like this! Is that a Dudek machined axle?!

Yes, Bob Dudek. I would always seek him out at shows. I also picked up lots he had for the Revell '49 Mercury.

I have a few of his parts that I’ve found at shows and on eBay, but not nearly as many as I’d like…saving a bunch of them for a special project at some point!

What kit did you get those Offenhauser valve covers from ?  Niiiice !!  This is gonna be a wicked build. !

TCB,

Adam

They came with the engine, source unknown. One guy in the club does slot cars and he sells the leftover parts.

The valve covers and intake are from the AMT '62 Bel Air and Impala kits.
