Bobchayer Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 1895 Duryea, 1/25 scale, resin casting manufactured by Genesis2Scale LLC, Tampa, FL in 2010. Very porous casting that took a lot of filling and sanding. This is the only model produced. 5
Yeah Nah Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 Some very delicate work there Robert. Well done and I think this might take the prize for a model of the earliest car I've seen on this forum!
ismaelg Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Great job and the most unusual subject. Love it! I love those early years of cars.
TooOld Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Great looking model Bob ! How big (or small) is it ?
Classicgas Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Very cool. We should return to that simplicity ?
Rattlecan Dan Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 As unique as any build I've seen lately. Very nice. Talk about automotive roots!
Bainford Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 Very cool model. Nice work on this resin kit. I quite like the simple, very early cars (and other era machinery), but kits are virtually non-existent. Great scratchbuilding subjects, though.
