Moparman18064 Posted June 29, 2024 Author Posted June 29, 2024 Little update, installed headlight lenses backed with Molotow for realism. I started fitting windows. For the front, I am using the one from 71 Demon kit. For the rear, one from Demon kit will not work due to the extensive mods to trunk/ window area. I filed and sanded one from 71 Duster kit and test fitted with chassis/ interior. I also installed tail lights and back up lenses. 5

Musclecarbuilder Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 The grill looks awesome, you did a really good job on it. 1
Moparman18064 Posted August 18, 2024 Author Posted August 18, 2024 (edited) Some more progress, started working on proper stance, scratch built pinion snubber, started wiring battery, added braided hose for nitrous, added decals for battery, fire extinguisher, nitrous bottle, installed monster tach, etc. Note: these are not the wheels that I will be using, still waiting for them. I am still waiting on a couple items ( namely wheels/ tires, fuel pumps). I have too many big scale builds to get on. 1
LennyB Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Looks nice Rich. Don't forget to wire the radio, I want to hear some tunes out of those 2 speakers on the package shelf.? 1

Moparman18064 Posted August 22, 2024 Author Posted August 22, 2024 Installed windows, installed masking tape to inner roof to simulate headliner, painted inner roof 2
Moparman18064 Posted August 24, 2024 Author Posted August 24, 2024 (edited) Since I busted up anything that could possibly break off while trying to get resin headers to fit chassis, I reshaped the valve covers, added the nitrous, repainted engine. I am custom forming headers from solder and heat shrink now. Edit, headers made, engine mounted in chassis. Edited August 25, 2024 by Moparman18064 1

Moparman18064 Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 Made new driveshaft from styrene tube and cutoff yokes from Duster kit. I finished trunk details and married the body to chassis 2
Moparman18064 Posted August 27, 2024 Author Posted August 27, 2024 Engine/ front subframe now married to chassis 1
Moparman18064 Posted September 19, 2024 Author Posted September 19, 2024 (edited) Some more under hood details, still have some more lines, wires, linkage and air cleaner to do. Finally got my strip wheels/ tires from 3D Scale Parts shown next to the street ones. Edited September 19, 2024 by Moparman18064 2
Moparman18064 Posted September 30, 2024 Author Posted September 30, 2024 Under hood pretty much wrapped up, I’m thinking about doing some wiring harnesses down the road. I wired starter, solenoid, ground. I ran fuel line from rear to cool can, then to scratch built fuel pressure regulator. I ran braided line from regulator to carb and nitrous system fuel solenoid and from nitrous tank up to nitrous solenoid. Hoses were made from solder and heat shrink. Mopar orange box, Accel Super Coil, cool can and engine/ carb are from VCG Resins 1

Moparman18064 Posted October 13, 2024 Author Posted October 13, 2024 Plumbed fuel system with braided line, fittings, installed grille, front bumper, valence. I have to redo the BMF on fender lip 1
