kjohan Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 Would be nice if they in the future released a GTZ / Tubolare , aka "Mini GTO". The body and most of the chassis are of course different, but probably some components could be common with the GTA. 1

It's a jewel of a kit and I'll look forward to building it once again. Great news - now I can stock up (I have 3 unbuilts in my stash from when they were first released + a GTAm transkit)- one of my all time favorites !

Was under the impression My Favorite Headache (credit: @keyser) might have covered this on the resin end of things but perhaps not. Tamiya's kitted odder balls...
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 (edited) Thumbs up on a GTZ Tubolare especially if it's a 2. Edited February 7, 2024 by rrb124@sbcglobal.net corrected annotation

kensar Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Will be great to see this reissued. My builds below: Tamiya in the front, Gunze behind it. 2
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Beautiful coupes! I had a 1:1 1975 GTV and these models are a good look back. Look ing forward to the Tamiya.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Have built the Gunze Sangyo long time ago. Yours looks good.
stavanzer Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Not Quite On Topic, but too beautiful not to share. 3
Justin Porter Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Additional good news on the Alfa reissue. According to Stevens International the MSRP is $33. For comparison's sake, MSRP on the just announced Craftsman Plus '64 Chevelle Malibu is $35.99. A full detail Tamiya kit from the 90's with metal transfer badges and poseable steering is cheaper than an AMT curbside from the 60's. Just to make things abundantly clear. 4
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Wow. Success. Sometimes we win.
The Junkman Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Just for curiosity's sake: what years of the Trans Am Series will the Tamiya kit be the best basis for? Or will it?
