Nacho Z Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 Doggone, Ken, that is beautiful!! Forgive me for what may be a dumb question, what about the masts, sails, rigging, etc? Is that the next phase? Are you even doing that? I’m a huge admirer of these wooden ships. I’ll never build one but I absolutely love them.

I have another that I built that is fully rigged but with no sails. ( they cover a lot of the rigging ).

Brudda Posted February 19, 2024 Posted February 19, 2024 Fantastic! Art, modeling skills, patience and history. I’m with Nacho Z, I love this but my skill and patience and modeling skills and history are not on par with this. Great job on a totally cool ship.
atomicholiday Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 That’s absolutely beautiful. Excellent craftsmanship. Is this based on a kit? Or all scratch built?

Or all scratch built? thank you Jeremy! they are called kits but you have to cut every piece from a box of wood using 1 to 1 drawings. the scratch building takes them to another level. the one pictured with the rigging took 3 years to build.
