kelson Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Wrapped this build up on Sunday, good in some areas, but difficult in others, color is MCW Saddle Tan,keith Marks Decals and P/E that comes with the kit.I didn't bother with trying to use the P/E hinges that are included or the plastic hinges either. Despite doing lots and lots of sanding couldn't get the trunk to sit flush. 14
espo Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Great looking showroom style build. The paint finish looks nice and smooth with a mid '60's look. 1
drodg Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Very nice job. I don't think I have ever seen one finished. 1
FoMoCo66 Posted April 3, 2024 Posted April 3, 2024 Looks great! Maybe you could just display the car with the trunk open. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 That looks great to me! I love the inside detail of the trunk, why not prop it open? 1
AMT68 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Paint work looks great and that color definitely suits the car. 1
happy grumpy Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 A beautiful build. Super clean showroom look. Great attention to details. 1
RickJ Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Beautiful build! I learned to drive in a 63 Chevy II the same color with bench seat. Lot of good memories driving it. I've got a 64 Möbius kit partially build. Thanks for sharing pics! 1
Watertown Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Looks fantastic, Curtis! I've got one of these, along with a 60 Pontiac kit Trumpeter offered. I'll have to dig them out. I've heard they're not for the faint of heart, but yours looks great! Nice work. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Nice looking little build. Great detail and paint. 1
XYHARRY Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Very nice showroom Nova there Curtis. I believe the trunk inside brace needs to be attached to the trunk skin whilst in the closed position. This also applies to the hood. Really well done on a difficult kit. Cheers, David. ?? 1
