bobss396
Sort of box stock-ish. Wheels and tires are from Jay's Resin Wheels. Headers are 3D printed, possibly VCG Resins. Stacks is got on eBay. Hood scoop I made up. Paint is Tamiya Dull Red with Mr. Hobby matte clear. Decals are from the kit. I opened the rear wells up to fit the tires. I took the chrome trim off the body.
TarheelRick
Very nice looking Nova. Very well represents the low-buck racer entry that was not factory sponsored. Really like those wheels and tires.

Altered Ego
I love the concept of this car. How did you make that scoop? Looks like a perfect homemade aluminum scoop.

Altered Ego
I have cut the scoop off of the Old Pro AMT Nova, but yours looks more realistic.

I have made a couple of them for other (stalled) projects in recent months. In this case they had to clear the injector stacks.
stavanzer
What a Stellar Build! It looks like the cars I've seen in the pits at Famoso. It has the Brutal Stance that signifies a real Drag Car. Good Show.
6bblbird
I love the primer paint and the steel wheels! Looks quite realistic. Here's a hint for applying decals to a primer or dull finish. Spray a coat of clear over the painted area where you want the decals. After the decals have set, shoot some matt clear over that area. That should hide the excess carrier film that you don't want to see.

W-409
That turned out great! It shows that even though the kit is pretty simplified in many ways, it can be built into a very nice model with a few modifications here and there, and of course, a skilled builder, like here. Nicely done.
