Justin Porter Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Built from the box save for plug leads and the carb fuel line, this Tamiya Morgan was just an absolute gem of a kit and one I have been wanting to build for a long time. I finished it in AK Interactive Real Color 002 Cream White and Gunze Mr Color C100 Wine Red under a couple coats of Alclad Aqua Gloss Clear. The interior is Gunze Mr Color C68 Red Madder. If you have one of these Morgans in your stash, do yourself a favor and build it! You won't be disappointed. 13
Matt Bacon Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 That looks lovely, Justin. Great colour scheme and beautifully executed paint and detailing. Is there actually a hinge in the bonnet? best, M. 1

The effect is still quite impressive in how Tamiya achieves it.Â
Kenmojr Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Beautiful car and beautiful build. Love these Morgans. I guess it's only time when someone will build one of these as a hot rod or gasser...Which would be cool. 1
Rich Chernosky Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Really nice build Justin. That's a very striking color combination. I have built this kit and I agree with you wholeheartedly that it is a gem. 1
Yeah Nah Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Nice work! Much as I don't mind a bit of a challenge, sometimes it's nice to have a kit go together without any issues at all. 1
Spottedlaurel Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Very nice Justin. I can just imagine the delicacy of some of those components and being able to appreciate how Tamiya have engineered the kit - you've certainly done it justice. 1
XYHARRY Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Great classic colour combo and good detail, well done Justin. Cheers, David.?? 1
