Rbray47 Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 I deviated from the box a little bit this time. I wanted to build it the way I would like to have a 1:1 set up, except I would need a flatbed for farm use. Maybe I'll add that later after I restock my styrene. Paint is Tamiya Pearl Green and Tamiya black. 9
Warren D Posted June 14, 2024 Posted June 14, 2024 Looks good. I took the flat bed off the Ford COE stake truck kit for my Reo, put a searchlight on the bed.
The Brush Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 (edited) What is not to like about a well built Diamond Reo. Great work. Edited June 16, 2024 by The Brush
Bren Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 I love the look of old school Diamond Reos - you’ve done a really nice job here Randy. The small touches like your clean window gasket painting really make it pop. Well done!
Bainford Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Beautiful truck. Very nice. Love the hood ornament.
ncbuckeye67 Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 That is absolutely beautiful! I really love that green. I used it on a 56 Ford pickup, and it's probably my favorite build.
Rbray47 Posted June 21, 2024 Author Posted June 21, 2024 Thanks for the kind words! I took some more pics without the bright sun and dark shade. I tried my hand at detailing the engine. Every Cummins 350 I Google looked slightly different. So I just took what I saw and added what I thought fit the best. The headache rack is from the Alaskan Hauler with a top bar added on. I also cut out the door glass and made the mudflaps and weights.
Sledsel Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 Super looking Diamond Rio. Where are the wheels and tires from?

Gary Chastain Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Lovin that color, looks great, awesome build.
RoninUtah Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Super clean build, awesome detailing, great work!
