This is the Revell curb side model of the BMW Z8. The kits body, chassis and interior all fit very close and require only a minimum of sanding on meeting edges. The body lines are all well-defined. The interior is just as well done and with a little detailing the instruments, seats, and door panels are also well done and require almost nothing in the way of sharpening the panel lines. One feature that I liked was the option of an Up-Top Convertible top that is done as one piece of clear plastic. This I painted inside and out with just the rear window masked using PS5 Black that is for Poly Carbonate bodies that I bought once by mistake. A Boot for a folded top is painted Wooden Deck Tan.  For the body I used Tamiya TS-42 Lt. Gun Metal and Tamiya Clear. The interior is both TS-68 Wooden Deck Tan and TS-62 Nato Brown. I used both Bare Metal Foil and a Gundam marker for the chrome trim. There is a back wash of both Tamiya Panel Line Accent in Black and Brown. I used a dark Browm Flocking for the floor and along the edge of the consol and behind the bucket seats. The kit has decals for the taillights and the front turn signal lights as well as all of the BMW emblems and instruments and European license plates. You will want to be very patient with soaking the decals since they take an inordinately long time to release from the paper and in my case the taillights just fell apart. The taillights where redone with Bare Metal Foil and X-27 Clear Red paint. They wheels are paint Aluminum and a flat clear. The suspension is well done, and a lot of detailing can add to that along with the exhaust and the lower engine parts that you would see through the suspension.

Looks fantastic.

Thank you everyone. I looked at the colors that BMW offered on this body style and their shade of silver wasn't to my liking, so this is what I went with. The same with the interior. I recommend this kit if you're looking for something a little different and not real involved to build.
