I have had fish before, but now I have Rango, a Leopard Gecko (lizard), I think they come from sub-saharan Africa, in the desert. But he wags his tail like a dog whenever he's about to pounce on a cricket (the food he eats). Here, you can see him laying on top of his cave, having a snooze.

I have a Syrian hamster that is about 6 months old............. They live about 3 years or so. They like to live in solitude, and are the type of pet that isn't needy or that craves attention. He does love to run around in my apartment in his ball! Here's a pic from when I first got him.....

I also have a puppy, a BIG puppy, that I adopted from the shelter. I think he may be Pyrenees mixed..... Got him May 31st.

Right now I have an indoor cat, two outdoor cats, and a house full of assorted bugs.

I've two bratty felines who I love to pieces :

- Tao , a black & white farm cat. He's 4 years old ; had him since he was 3 months .

- Emily , a Dilute Calico. She's +/- 4 months old, I've had her since June this year.

I've had many cats over the last 30+ years ; I was just crying over me beloved Molly Anne ( 18.5.2002 - 10.8.2019 ) , gone 5 years today.

I went to the zoo the other day. They only had one animal. A dog.

It was a Shih Tzu.

After 15 Months living with the Rottie, My wife and I have decided that a Rottweiler is not a Pet, it is a Lifestyle! Everything has to change when you own one.

We have had dogs now for 30 years, but there is nothing like a Rottie . Don't get me wrong, we love her (perhaps more than any other dogs we have owned), but she is a completely different kind of pet. More Demanding, More Energetic, and More Loving, than any dog we have every known.

So far, she is a great dog.

No pics. I'd like to see a pic of the Amazon. I use to have a Blue gold Macaw named Buddy.

Thanks for sharing,

This is not mine, but he looks just like this one. Same small blue front and everything.

I had friends who had a blue front. Not sure if it's the same. Seems the blue was much darker than this one.

That must be cool to have a tropical bird; a local and now non-existant pet shop had a Blue/Gold Macaw, a really big parrot, named Sunshine, who was not for sale but was owned by the owner, but then she passed and the Macaw ended up in some zoo or something, but died shortly after. It was like 70 years old or maybe a little younger.

Blue & Gold Macaw.

The 'Kings' of the Bird World. These are the Apex pet to get if you want the most impressive birds. Expensive to buy, and trouble to keep, the are the pinnacle of Bird Ownership. I do not want one. Some can live 65-70 years, and most will outlive their first owner(s). They are a huge commitment in both Time and Money. But Gorgeous Birds!

The ol' hammy enjoying a bit of carrot........... You can see that they are creatures of comfort! I rip up paper towels for him to use as bedding.........
