Very nicely done. The ‘black chrome’ may not have been intentional, but it does look good, and with those wheels this is a ‘mean’ Impala.

Thanks beerRS!  My ineptitude paid off this time. ?

I was a little concerned with the wheels because Fireball's tires tend to be a little on the bloated side.  I couldn't use them on a previous Corvette build.

I like it! That stance makes it look like those fins are there for a reason. Great interior and engine detail.

Thanks Dood. Yeah, I guess the car has an early Batmobile vibe. 7b697cc7d9a2b4e6e557d452e65775eb.jpg.e300caa1dfce4aec4e42af90ba0805c2.jpg

Beautifully detailed interior, fabulous looking detail, great build.

David G.

Thanks David.  It was worth the extra effort on the interior as so much of it can be seen on this kit.

As mentioned previously your unintentional black chrome gives this build a very sinister look. The last photo of the wide angle interior shot is a brilliant idea, it really showcases how much detail has been achieved. Really well done Harry.

Cheers,

David. ??

Happy accidents (or inteptitude) are the best kind.  I must have some kind of dark side as I've used the same colour scheme in the past.  It just looks right to me some how.

I stumbled upon the wide angle technique on a previous build. I think if there's enough side window space I will continue with it going forward.

Thanks for the kind words. ??

Very impressive, Sting! I see that someone else has already used the term, but sinister came immediately to mind when I saw this.  Great photos as well.

Thanks Z!  The inspiration came from an awesome '59 Impala I saw on the net. This thing had enormous rear tires.

The dark chrome was definitely a happy accident, as it really adds to the sinister look it has going for it.  That interior, wow!  Great stance and paint as well.  Congrats!  Thanks for posting, it gives me some inspiration to dig mine out of the stash and get it started.  Planning on something similar to what you've built here.

Like I said on other site, beautiful build, smooth and clean!

The “other side.”  Been wondering how to approach that issue.  ?

Nice job with excellent attention to detail! Between you and I, the original Batman would've been much cooler driving this!

Thanks Dood.  They got a little closer with the Robert Pattinson release.

Very nice and sinister looking paint and a fabulous interior! Great build!

That word ‘sinister’ keeps popping up. I like it. ?
