Coyote_6 Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Ahh the good old days. Smokey and the Bandit! I got on a kick to do a couple of cars from my childhood that were foundational to my love of the internal combustion automobile! The Revell Monogram Bandit kit goes together pretty well but suffers from two major shortcomings - no Trans Am decals and no front Georgia license plate. I was able to locate the Trans Am decals off a certain auction website, but I am still working on a Georgia plate to complete the movie car. Also, I needed to scratch build a CB antenna. All in all a fun build that brings back good memories of simpler and funner times. "For the good old American life. For the money, the glory, and for the fun! Mostly for the money." 10
Coyote_6 Posted September 8, 2024 Author Posted September 8, 2024 (edited) Should also mention aftermarket tires and Goodyear decals. Painting with gold is fun! That Testors gold in the little bottle is timeless. Edited September 8, 2024 by Coyote_6 9
