Harry P. Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Ok... how about this one? Real or Model? The answer: MODEL!
george 53 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Ya see, yer minds so full a vengance, ya FERGOT the most important thing! YA GOTTA VOTE!!!! One way or the other, but DO IT! Otherwise waitin till the last minute ta see which way the Lemmings are headed don't count! I think It's a MODEL!, One of them HYPER expensive jobbies, but a model, none the less. See, THAT'S how ya do it!
MrObsessive Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Ooooohhh!! One of my favorite '50's racers!! A 1957 Aston Martin DBR-1! In fact I think I know more about this one than I'll admit------so I'm keeping mum for the moment.
Zoom Zoom Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Hmmmm...tough one, but there's one very small detail that is tipping my hat...
Pete J. Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I'm going with model on this one. A great model but there are just a couple of small details that don't look right to me. In particular the duze fasteners on the hood just look a little off to me. Also not to sure of the reflections in the paint. It kind of looks like the photographer is reflected in a very large size. Very nice model though.
ricky12 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 going with model on this one theres a couple things that get me
B_rad88 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 i think its a model! to me this is the best looking one yet!
RJWood Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 That is a beautiful car. Going with model, for my own reasons.
ABC Auto Industry Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 It's a model. I've seen a picture that looks rather similar to this, but something says "model".
Nick F40 Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) Ooooohhh!! One of my favorite '50's racers!! A 1957 Aston Martin DBR-1! Ditto At first glance I knew it was either Jag or Aston Martin and I then lookd a little bit more and knew it was an Aston Martin. It looks like a diecast...so model, maybe? James W Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 The interior is beautiful, but there is something about the wheels and tail lights.

Well, you guys were too smart on this one. I thought it would be a closer vote, but you pretty much got me on this one... it's a MODEL! Next ROM coming MONDAY!
Zoom Zoom Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 It boiled down to the missing amber lens on the back fender behind the wheel! Oops! That was what tipped it definitively to "model" for me
