Erik Solie Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Coming soon. Moebius 1971 Lifted Ford F250 4x4 Kit # 2567, and has some really special bits and pieces in it. Chrome "mudder" rims and tires, including a spare in the bed (on a rack), roll-bar, front bumper winch, gun rack (with irons), lifted suspension, and a very special decal set to surprise you when it gets here! Thanks, Erik Moebius 13 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I can definitely see at least two (probably more) of these on my shelf!
mikemodeler Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I will be happy to see this one arrive, I have some wheels and tires already picked out for it.
Mr mopar Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 The Tire wheel combo does not look right to me they need to be bigger !

Nice to have a great network of aftermarket suppliers to fill in where the manufacturer may fall short of pleasing us all. 2
Danno Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Wheels and tires look period-correct to me. The really big stuff didn't come along until later years. Then a lot of swapping out changed everyone's perspectives, IMHO. 5

66c10 Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Will be a good kit to build I have to get the 71
spkgibsonfirebird Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 I'm definitely going to be getting a couple of these when they come out, I also wish they'd bring out the 1967 Long bed F100 and F250 kits, I'm already in the works of kit bashing the '67 service truck and and a replacement bed I found on eBay to make one , I'm waiting for the dealer brochure off of there also to get the details correct. This 1971 is going to be another great kit to have in my collection along with the upcoming '72 tow truck, Hopefully they put the actual 1972 grill and interior parts in the box just like the snow plow kit, it's a 1971 listed as a 1972.
spkgibsonfirebird Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Here's my Moebius Ford Truck collection so far. 4
Erik Solie Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 These are here now. In stock at the Pegasus Hobbies web store, and soon to be showing up at all the other usual places! https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/1971-ford-f-250-custom-4x4-in-stock-now/ 3 1
Radretireddad Posted April 4 Posted April 4 (edited) The cartoonish raised suspension and undersized wheel and tire combo make this one a non starter for me, however I do want the roll bar in the bed and the winch and front bumper for my stock plow truck kit. This, the plow truck and the tow truck are also the only source for the correct 4wd NP 435 trans and crossmember. It’s very hard for me to self justify shelling out a big chunk of my very limited hobby budget for an expensive parts kit. Edited April 4 by Radretireddad

Well, now that the kit is here there will be spare parts available in a week or so. Maybe e-mail customerservice@moebiusmodels.com with your name and address as well as what parts you need? I'm sure you'll get a total that is much less than a full kit.

By the way do you have any spare sets of hub caps from the M100 kit? If so how much for three sets? 1
Chuck Most Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Got one today, think mine's getting some more period correct wheels and tires. Just personal taste but the wheels are a little too "brodozer" for it. Maybe I'll warm up to them but I have another project I think they'd look better on. Put some Jackmans wrapped in TSL Super Swampers on it and it would resemble pretty much every third or fourth pickup you'd see in a Michigan road in the '80's. 5

Oh, some Jackman 8 spoke wagon wheels...in white! Are the kit wheels and tires pretty much what is pictured on the box art?
